Unsigned Music Magazine(USA) - Year End Special, December 2005
Glyn Bailey “Toys From Balsa”
Score: 3.2/5
Glyn Bailey is a creative writer with
no boundaries. He’s a storyteller
with plenty of stories to tell, some
serious - some funny (as hell) but
all good. Glyn may not be the
strongest singer but he sure as hell
enjoys singing and that’s important
too. Musically the CD is great also.
The musicianship accompanies the
vocals like a perfect date, punctual
and attentive. And with 15 tracks,
well that’s plenty of stories to hear.
Sorry (She Went Down On Me But I
Thought About You) and the bonus
track Friends (John & Yoko In Bed)
are two of my favorites. You must
check this album out; this is how to
keep the fun in music.
