He’s competent musically (he writes and plays everything on this CD), his voice is passable but his limits are made clear. His melodies as well as his song structures offer no surprises and little to hold the imagination, even on the Irish tinged L’Humanitie, a decent backing ruined by a weak vocal.

I definitely can’t fault his playing though...Glyn I feel would be far better suited to creating the backings for another singer...being able to work around someone else’s melodies and words may well free his musical spirit. As it is, the further I progress into this CD I find myself pleasantly entertained by the music until he starts singing. Oh, and he needs to get a drummer...it pains me to hear a drum machine used so uninspired.
